Based in vibrant Brighton, this tour includes some of the best seaside resorts along the south coast, including visits to Littlehampton, Worthing, and Eastbourne. We are also including the famous steam train journey on the ‘Bluebell Railway’ and a 90minute circular cruise on the Wey and Arun Canal, with a cream tea included on one afternoon and a free day to explore fabulous Brighton, this summer tour is a must!

 

Tour Itinerary

 

Monday – Our luxury coach departs this morning and we head to the coastal town of Littlehampton on the beautiful Sussex coast for a relaxing lunch break before continuing to our hotel on Brighton’s seafront. Welcome tea and coffee while your cases are taken to your rooms. 

 

Tuesday – This morning we join one of the first heritage lines in the country ‘The Bluebell Line’ for a return journey between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead. After this nostalgic experience we continue to the seaside town of Worthing. You will have plenty of time to enjoy lunch along the wide-open prom or enjoy an ice cream on the pier, the choice is yours!

 

Wednesday – A free day today and an opportunity to explore Brighton itself with its array of shops, cafes and restaurants, the royal pavilion palace with its colourful history, the famous pier and not forgetting the new i360 observation tower, a fully enclosed pod that glides up to 450ft for views across Brighton, the south coast, and South Downs.

 

Thursday – Today we are visiting one of the UK’s sunniest hot-spots, Eastbourne, with its pristine beaches, 19^th century pier and 1930’s bandstand set amongst Victorian hotels sweeping the promenade. We return to the hotel mid-afternoon for a delicious cream tea!

 

Friday – We leave Brighton this morning and head to Arundel for a relaxing 90minute circular cruise of the Wey and Arun canal. We continue to Arundel for some free time for lunch before heading back up to Wiltshire after an enjoyable holiday exploring the West Sussex coastline.
