Nestled on the edge of the tranquil Lake Levico Terme is an authentic historic spa town of Trentino, Italy. The old town offers charming shopping streets and a long lakeside promenade, parks and gardens. One of Italy’s most pristine lakes, Levico is in the beautiful Sugana Valley close to Trento, Lake Garda and surrounded by the Italian Dolomites.

 

Tour Itinerary

           

Tuesday – Our luxury coach will depart this morning, and head to Folkestone where we will catch the Eurotunnel train to Calais, from there we make our way to our overnight hotel in Saarbrucken for our evening meal with comfort stops on route.

 

Wednesday – We depart Saarbrucken after breakfast and begin our journey to Italy crossing Germany, over the Bavarian Alps to Innsbruck and on to Brenner before crossing the Italian border. We continue to our hotel in Levico Terme to a welcome drink while our luggage is taken up to our rooms before tonight’s dinner.

 

Thursday – A short hop today to neighbouring Trento, the reginal capital. The historical streets around the cathedral are well worth a visit and today is also market day!

 

Friday – A free day for you to relax and enjoy Levico. Enjoy a lakeside walk in the parkland opposite the hotel that borders the lake, the historic streets of the old town or the leisure facilities at the hotel.

                       

Saturday – Today we visit the beautiful shores of Lake Garda, our first stop will be to the beautiful resort of Limone. This fragrant lemon growing town perches on the edge of beautiful Lake Garda, has plenty of quaint little shops and cafes to while away a couple of hours! We then continue to Riva del Garda, another historical town on the northern shores of Lake Garda for an opportunity to enjoy some lunch in one of the many restaurants and lake-side cafes before we finish the day with a wine tasting experience.                

 

Sunday – A full day excursion along the gorge like Val Sugana to Bassano del grappa. Here we can take time to explore the historic and fortified town with its many stylish shops, cafes, and restaurants. We return via Rovereto for a Grappa distillery visit.

 

Monday – Your second free day to relax and enjoy the grounds and leisure facilities of our lovely hotel.

 

Tuesday – Sadly, we say goodbye to Italy and make our way back to Saarbrucken for our overnight stop.

 

Wednesday – We leave Saarbrucken and make our way back up to Calais and our Eurotunnel crossing, once back in the UK we head to Wiltshire and our waiting taxis early evening after a memorable holiday.
